Nice UI application to get heaps of system information plus some simple benchmarks. It's very similar to Aida for Windows.

It requires GTK2.

Thanks fulalas, do you know why the huge size increase compared to 0.5.1? 3.7 that size…

*cough* Just ignore the date stamp of the hardinfo-0.5.1-x86_64-1pw.xzm file. *cough*

And apparently, even when using wget for downloading from mediafire.com - mediafire seems unable to give the file's original date and time stamp and so wget uses the current date and time instead.

or the translated equivalent in your language, if you set it to one of these supported by hardinfo-0.6-x86_64-1.xzm : de - es - fr - pt_BR - ru or tr.
