geany-1.36 for porteus 5.0+
Geany is a text editor using the GTK3 toolkit with basic features of an integrated development environment. It was developed to provide a
small and fast IDE, which has only a few dependencies from other packages. It supports many filetypes and has some nice features.
Should work on any of the DEs.

Fine business!
I have used Geany in previous versions, but it had then an integrated debugger..which i miss in this version.
Maybe there is a plug-in for it now?
An IDE without the possibility of step running your project is less useful...I tried it is runs ok!

Cheers!
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).
The Porteus Community never sleeps!

seems so : https://plugins.geany.org/debugger.html
slackbuild for the full set(seems to be only way they come): https://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.2 ... y-plugins/
i'll look into building them, if you don't beat me to it ;)
