It sure does.
As a technical info, it would not build on earlier versions of KDE (like rc4 for eg) because of gstreamer dependency. But on the 4.0 final KDE, since gstreamer became a dependecy for KDE and I had to include it, it also made VLC possible for KDE :thumbsup:
