- Use advanced GIS data importing features to your advantage
What in Corona-Chan's name is advanced GIS data, or only GIS data?
Searching such abbreviations gives several ambiguous results.
Cheers!

Thanks, searching for GIS gave me the wikipedia entry: Geographic information system
A geographic information system (GIS) is a conceptualized framework that provides the ability to capture and analyze spatial and geographic data. GIS applications (or GIS apps) are computer-based tools that allow the user to create interactive queries (user-created searches), store and edit spatial and non-spatial data, analyze spatial information output, and visually share the results of these operations by presenting them as maps

Example of advanced GIS information:
-Open GE-Pro 7.3.3
-Search where you live, city, street
-Move the little man top right to the front of your house
-Click the blue split blue button on top right
Voila!

wread, I know this question is slightly off topic here. (But only slightly)

Since you are quite knowledgeable about much stuff:

Is it possible when using Google-earth-pro - or preferable just go with your browser to https://www.openstreetmap.org/ - to select a specific place zoomed in for as much detail as possible, and define a date and time and get the sun's direction / the path of the sun rays / the path of the sunlight for that specific place and date/time?

I am asking because I want to make some photos and want to know which date or time/date would give me the needed sunlight.
I presume I will have to wait some months as since it's currently winter and the daylight is quite short and the sunrise is late and sunset is early I will not get the direct sunlight for quite some months, maybe in early March I would get the sun how I want it because there is a building blocking the sunrays (at least in late autumns or in most if not all of winter) and I cannot just move a building for taking some photos. Since I am no :magic: wizard, maybe a small one when it comes to script coding but no wizard when it comes to real physics like moving buildings for a mere photo I am not. :D

Therefore my question:
How do I accomplish such calculation: is there a way in using https://www.openstreetmap.org/ ?
Or is there a way when using Google-earth-pro to get such reliable calculation? It calls itself "pro" after all. :D
Cheers!

One predefined position of the sun can occurr two times in a year, with a time offset of about 182.5 days. In tropical regions it will be difficult to say if it is summer or winter, spring or fall. In tempered zones there should be no problem to differentate the stations.
