Here is mypaint 1.0 stripped of some hi res background images and merged with its dependencies.

...stripped hi res backgrounds (-30mb) tested 1.2 kde
If you want these backgrounds, use the Repo version(take note of the depends, because PPM won't handle these(python) ones.
