Hello :)
This's full package of anti-virus protection Dr.Web v.6.0.2.4-x86_x64 (real-time protection, anti-virus scanner and on-demand scans, automatic updates and quarantine).
About the keys - or buy yourself anti-virus, either use the legal magazines keys for 1 month

I saw the xzm module; it is 242 MB big! Almost as big as the operating system...Just paranoic
But if you are using Wine you will need it for sure!
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).
The Porteus Community never sleeps!

I think you mean the database size which should be big because of having some hundreds of records.

The size of the package really strong increases, due to the presence in it last anti-virus database, as well as the inclusion in the module large number of additional module to ensure the operation of all anti-virus components on a 64-bit OS :(

This is why you should test your package on "Fresh" Porteus and see what's missing and at end you add as additional dependency the package link.

This is a very bad software from my point of view. It needs too many deps so there is more risks for final users to have troubles. I would uses ClamAV as "antivirus" for emails maybe but nothing else.

Anyway if you did all this work, this means this is something good we should have from this package :-)

Your game folder contains a crack or a trojan. This is going against policy of an antivirus to make your files not reached by the antivirus.

Hello.

I downloaded the new version 28.01.2013 and activated the xzm but I received the following message:
Scanner disabled, cannot start drwebd:
Error reading /root/.drweb/drweb32.ini!

What should I need to do? FYI I am running Porteus 2.0 RC2 64bit.

Thanks and regards,
FireFoxJet

Dear, championz :)

If you want to save your infected files, specify them in the section DrWeb-Tools-SplDerGuard-Exclusion. In this case DrWeb will not delete them.
If the files have already been removed, then you can restore it from the Quarantine.
