Thanks, but that link doesn't work and I can't even read the error message. Do you use Telegram? Could you upload it there instead, for example? https://t.me/PorteusX/1

nayame, thanks the new link works. We've been trying for years to make fcitx-mozc work for Japanese input. Your module comes close to achieving that I hope. Could you help to make it work for me please? Firslty, there is an error message on terminal 1 ( Ctrl+Alt+F1) that it cannot find Start_fcitx or something, but that's okay -- both Fcitx and Fcitx settings are in the Start menu.

In settings I've removed all Input methods except Japanese. Now in Leafpad, on a Ctrl+Space the floating toolbar appears with a double ああ icons. However, the keyboard input remains English -- not Japanese. So either the Japanese input (still) doesn't work or I don't understand how to activate it?

rych,

download url :https://www.123865.com/s/i8V7Vv-EPwGv

Thanks to icake and neko , icake made a software package based on fcitx framework with a variety of Chinese input methods, neko made a mozc Japanese input method package based on fcitx, on their basis, I made a new software package, including a variety of simplified Chinese input methods, anthy and mozc two Japanese input methods, as well as hangul Korean input method, Simplified Chinese input method supports pinyin, shuangpin, ziranma and Wubi, Of course, there is also a built-in Wenquanyi font that supports the display of Asian characters, and the new package is only 33MB, which can be used normally under the XFCE environment of Porteus 5.01 and Porteux1.6, other desktop environments have not been tested.

How to use:
1,After clicking on the package to activate it,Press CTRL+ALT+Backspace to return to the login interface,After logging in to the guest account with the guest password,You can see the input method icon in the upper right corner of the desktop。 If you don't log in again, press alt+f2 to enter fcitx to start, and the Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters will be garbled
2,Add the Chinese, Japanese and Korean input method you need,And make other settings,See the video for specific operations,The input method can be started by pressing Ctrl+Space,Press Ctrl+Shift to switch
3,Korean characters will be displayed overlapping in the general text editor,This has nothing to do with the input method,Tested,Abiword/libreoffice/featherpad/geany and other editors will display overlapping Korean characters under the editor,I can't see the content clearly, but nano / vim and wps office will be ok.
