Hi ncmprhnsbl
zen-browser-1.0.1-a.17-x86_64.xzm only runs on newer hardware.
I get the error message "Invalid machine instruction"

However, on the page https://zen-browser.app/download, the browser is available in two versions: Optimized and Generic.
On my hardware, only the Generic version runs.

I found out the following:
The optimized version of Zen uses Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (AVX2), a CPU instruction set that enhances performance for certain tasks.
However, AVX2 is only available on newer processors.

I found out the following:
thanks, i was aware of this but failed to bother ;)
now added the 'generic' version as well.
updated to version: 1.0.1-a.19
also added ublock origin addon (it will auto install on first startup, if you are saving changes that'd be the only time besides updates)
hint: if you want a compact vertical tab bar ie. icons only > settings > look and feel > sidebar and tabs layout > don't expand tabs by default
