Rezound audio file editor from Salix packages

Post#1 by gnintilgyes » 11 Nov 2022, 19:43

This was from packages installed with "GSlapt" on Salix 64-bit. There is no "desktop"-suffix file. This link is good for 30 days.

rezound-salix.xzm
https://www9.zippyshare.com/v/P2LGqwsb/file.html

I'm offering this one because somebody else did so already in this forum but it didn't work on my system. In the last two weeks plus I've been having problems with downloading stuff, which might be a reason why a search on the forums held up for a long time and then failed.

Note that this module cannot be deactivated. Someone with better patience and knowledge than me is welcome to fix the XZM to do something about it. I don't know how to get rid of the "nag screen." One thing that sucks with this editor is the gain fades are messed up, and the command to set silence doesn't do it properly.

DISCLAIMER: I am not the author of this program nor of the contents of the package. I will not be held responsible, and neither will the Porteus Team nor Salix Team, for your inability to use this program, or whatever happens as consequence and which wasn't accepted. If you have any doubts about using any program that you are about to download, just don't do it, and don't install it. If you have any concerns about security then don't install and download any program and stop reading messages about it. There is no guarantee that it will work because the program was a "beta" release and says so in its "nag screen."

hi gnintilgyes, the module, if you use getmod is ready to download with another package, this one fox-toolkit (FOX C++ Graphical Toolkit) and getmod make for you a xzm package in /tmp
if you don't have i suggest you the babam package named 011-slapt-get-x86_64.xzm after this sudo getmod -u and for the search getmod -s and for the build of the package getmod -m getmod use the software from salix and salix extra, but you can add repositories if you like.

Hi beny, thank you for the tip. As I've said, I've been having "moody" Internet about this time and for four hours more at least, more reliable in the morning where I live and better if nobody else in my neighborhood connected. In addition I have to get around to placing into my "changes" folder, an XZM file which houses a web browser. There is none set up yet. I am writing this from Brave browser in Manjaro MATE.

Palemoon keeps saying it its status bar "Performing a TLS handshare to www9.zippyshare.com..." but it takes minutes and minutes with no progress visible.

But I currently have not the most recent PM version running, still on 31.3.0.1 when I already created the newest "palemoon-31.3.1.linux-x86_64-gtk3.xzm", but not that likely that switching to the newest PM will solve the issue, but still, even a slim chance is a chance.

2.19 MB for an audio file editor sounds amazingly small. (And maybe that can b made even smaller when stripping its dependencies of fox-toolkit and soundtouch to the bare minimum needed for rezound to run.)

@gnintilgyes is 0.13.1beta also the version of your zippyshare module?

I will test it later, RL calls. *is off*

Yes so no need to download it, you're on the case. "My" module is over 5MB, you might not like it. But it has some "SO"-suffix files for those who don't have "05-devel.xzm" activated.

I just realized I already had a "rezound-x86_64.xzm" module lying around, it's seemingly from 2021:

Code: Select all

3063808 2021-07-23 20:30 rezound-x86_64.xzm
No idea what version that is, but it's md5sum is:
