Since it lists XFCE 4.12 and 4.14 + 4.16 - does your module also work when running XFCE 4.12?
https://docs.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-panel-profiles/start lists also XFCE 4.12 and 4.14

You need the stock porteus_5 final. (xfce 4.16)
Simply replacing the stock 4.16 with a 4.12 xfce module will brake this python tool.

Then I leave it be for now… unless someone else manages to make a new 4.12 XFCE, I know from what fulalas wrote that 4.12 needed a bit of tweaking once in a while, but since he retired as our XFCE guru.
Cheers!
