Hi all!
Libreoffice is an office suite simitlar to the well known one of M$, but license free. I repacked it for Porteus 5.0 on the KDE Desktop; i did not test it in other plataforms, but it should work on other Porteus desktops too.
You must have the working versions of glib2, glibc; I read it works on the Gnome desktop among others.
Enjoy!

LibreOffice 7.3.2.2 for Porteus 5.0
Well, I made a LibreOffice-6.2.5.2-x86_64-de_rava.xzm - that has all its components, and it is by far not the most recent version and is still a huge 205.09 MB (215056384 bytes)
But I am not happy with it all. Do you know a bit about LibreOffice and how to set all components of it using cm / mm as measurements and A4 as paper size?
Porteus is an international project, most people sit outside the US of A and use cm and mm as measurements. And use A4 as paper size. Just like I do.
Still, LO comes with " and letter as paper size and such.
And to write one simple document and have LO set all measurements to cm / mm and use A4 for everything (not just for the writer) is quite the task and not that intuitive and takes longer than the simple document I wanted to create.
And just setting default settings should not take longer than creating one simple document.
It would be great when there is a setup / settings file and users get told how to incorporate that into their own system prior starting LO so that all measurements are cm / mm based and all paper sizes are A4 by default.
Are you able to help?
If yes, we should move into another thread.
