I had updated modules from "lzm" to "xzm", and tested in Porteus-1b. These modules include:
LibreOffice-3.3.2
jre-1.6u24
firefox-4
...
Computer Algebra system:
Maxima-5.23.2
Octave-3.3.54
Sage-4.6.2
...
Steps to using Google-chrome 10
1. activate module;
2. open console and execute:
> su
passwords: toor
root> chown guest:guest ~guest/.config
root> chmod 1755 /dev/shm
root> chmod 4755 /opt/google/chrome/chrome-sandbox
3. now you can use google-chrome in "guest user" role.

i would recommend to try Firefox-8 nightly build which launches much faster, eats less memory and works breezing fast
