One short year ago today (or yesterday, or tomorrow, depending on how you figure it), Porteus was born. Looking back, it's exciting to see how far it has come as a distribution and as a community. It gives me great hope for the future, and I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of those who have contributed to making Porteus wonderful!
Happy Birthday Porteus!!!

Re: Happy Birthday, Porteus!
cant believe it's a year already
congrats to all involved!
i'm pretty sure that Porteus is going into right direction especially with latest additions (mainly due to Jay's effort).
good job on the community side: we have regular kernel updates and additional desktops (XFCE and KDE-4 for 32bits).
wish to have more people involved with giving a hand to fresh members on the forum. Seems that only few members are active while the rest is kinda stalled. Hopefully it will change in the comming year(s)
Thanks people for giving us a chance to have great fun with this project.
