According to Linus Torvald, there is a possible take over of linux by microsoft:

ummm… no? No possible take over of Linux by Microsoft or SM as i call them.

The article starts with
Linus Torvalds isn't worried about Microsoft taking over Linux

And you shouldn't be either. Every company wants to rule Linux -- none of them can or ever will.

I see no issue there - building and shipping a self build Linux kernel gives SM-Witless no rights on GNU/Linux whatsoever.
