[Suggestion] Enlarge forum edit area when replying?

My screen is full HD - 1920x1080.
Since the standard font size and website layout makes it hard to read, I usually us the "Zoom" function of Palemoon to enlarge the content of the browser content window, for almost every website.

The above screenshot is sized down to 800x450.

My issue: Why is - unless I create a new subject - the edit area so small?

As you can see from the screenshot, below the edit area and to the left of the smilies there is enough room for the same sized edit area that you get when creating a new subject.

As comparison, here is the screenshot of the editing of this very post:

You can clearly see the difference in the size of the edit area.
The way I zoomed in I get 15 lines of editable area when creating a new thread but only 6 when replying. 15 is great, but 6 is =@ .

Is it possible to get the below edit area for reply posts, which usually are the majority of posts anyway. That would be greatly appreciated. :friends:
Cheers!

try leftclick-dragging the bottom right hand corner of the edit box: there's a handle there, that your darkmode addon is hiding...

That is indeed the only issue with the PM Advanced Night Mode, why name it advanced when it still has the one bug all known to mankind me darkmode have: hiding stuff.

Thanks for the heads up, but even with ANM disabled in the bottom right hand corner there is nothing to see that would let you believe it could be dragged down.

Blaze , can the phpBB be so set up that when replying the editbox is full size when the user is already at the bottom of page and only gets that small the time the user is somewhere up looking for more stuff to quote?
Cheers!
