This is a thread about these phone apps linux box software that you use for streaming. Some example is kodi which comes both on the linux box and on the android phone. It comes with repositories, some good, some bad, some great ones. Other software of apps are for the phone only, like terrarium, which seems a lot more simpler in use than kodi.

This is about streaming, which is legal here in Canada. So tell us: how do you stream?

Do you happen to have links to kodi Porteus or Slackware repositories, the great ones?

Don't know if these are great ones but:

Code: Select all

guest@porteus:~$ su
Password:
root@porteus:/home/guest# usm -s kodi

kodi-16.1-x86_64-1gv.txz was found in salix [not installed]
kodi-17.6-x86_64-1_slonly.txz was found in slackonly [not installed]
Packages found: 2

Use: usm -i <package> for more info
Use: usm -g <package> to download

root@porteus:/home/guest#

If there is a linux oriented application that does better than kodi, I will buy!
