Anyone try Firefox-Light?

Just wondering if anyone has tried compiling Firefox-Light?

Note that this is *different* from the android Firefox-Lite !!

Ok, so the last update seems to have been in 2016, but maybe as a low-key substitute for things like Dillo, Netsurf, etc? I'm thinking mostly for usage with OFFline simpler html docs etc etc, and NOT a substitute for the most up to date browsers.

Waterfox, Cyberfox, Firefox-Light, ...
You do not notice a difference!
You should use the original Firefox.

I *do* use the original Firefox, but not on Porteus. I'm mostly offline with Porteus for the use-case I put it to.

So ... this "light" browser was just an interest to see if all the junk they pulled out of Firefox like telemetry, pocket, and on and on, made any major reduction in overall download package size for my simplified OFFline browser usage.

But I get your point. Even if pulling out all the junk just to make a lightweight browser package for my offline needs, if it makes no difference in ram or other resource usage, (aside from security issues online) what's the point - other than a cool personal project I suppose.

I think Netsurf is going to be my Dillo replacement!
