"I wonder if brokenman or fanthom have any commentaries out of the record on these peculiar days when the band was hosted on the slax forum."
I have mailed Tomas M for a permission to use slax forum for developing slax-remix and he agreed. Some hardcore slax fans did not like the remix and it caused tension so we have moved up here.
Turns out it was a good decision since Tomas dropped the forum altogether. I have never understood this decision - cant imagine how one can build the community around the linux distro without having the forum.
I'm not involved in Porteus (desktop) development anymore but still would like to take this opportunity and thank you guys for all what you do on this forum.
Porteus as a project would be pointless without having a great community around
I still use Porteus as the rescue system - saved my ass many times when i messed up the hard drive. Also its my main system when i travel.
Thank you for keeping it alive.
