I connected my laptop HDMI output to TV. Porteus does not recognize my Full HD TV as extra Monitor. Even Windows 10 does not. I don't find any entry under settings/display.

Any tricks please?

What Desktop Environment are you using? And what's your video card brand/model?

Intel(R) HD Graphics 620.

I have three Porteus tied OS. Porteus 4.0 and nemisis have XFCE DE. Another Porteus version has n0ctilucient's Box.

XOrg log:

Code: Select all

12.754] (II) intel(0): Enabled output eDP1
[ 12.754] (II) intel(0): Output HDMI1 has no monitor section
[ 12.754] (II) intel(0): Enabled output HDMI1
Today I tried with Ubuntu with Deepin DE. Wall paper was there on the TV immediately on HDMI connection. There was a display option to select eDPI or HDMI1. On selection TV became a monitor. perfect.

Would be happy if Porteus too behave that way.
