Common domain is porteus.org.

forum.porteus.org is a subdomain. After changing server settings the layout went bad and pervented anyone from logging into ACP because of SSL redirect issue talked about earlier. The current method is good enough.

A question.

I liked the feature "username edited this post after xx days xx hours" in small green font at the top of a late addition.

I may be wrong but to me it seems that this feature is no longer there?
Cheers!

let's see...

Posted after 50 seconds:
still there?

Posted after 8 minutes 13 seconds:
this occurs when a user posts to a thread, then posts to it again, if no one else has posted inbetween.

As the self-proclaimed king of replying to himself, I adore this feature, as it makes me appear somewhat less obnoxious (but just as neurotic).

The forum's mchat seems to be deleting it's cache quite often -- perhaps any time there are no users chatting? Not sure if this is a bug, or intentional, to keep the cache size small.

thanks!

Hamza, nice style, but we need a wide style. For it

Code: Select all

#--- OPEN ---
styles/prosilver/theme/common.css

#--- FIND ---
#wrap {
...
}

#--- REPLACE WITH ---
#wrap {
	padding: 0px 20px;
	min-width: 650px;
}
Update in ACP -> CSS. Thanks.

Seamonkey gave me this error running on V08 when trying to log into https://porteus.org:80/forum
[I thought https is not port 80 anyway since 80 is just http:// ...]

Code: Select all

An error occurred during a connection to porteus.org:80.

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.
But I was able to log into another tab just fine. Oh, and I use lastpass for username/password anyway...
Cheers!
Yours Rava

It is fixed , sorry.

Normally , you login you with the ssl support , but it can't be used with 80 port , normally , it must be used with 443 port only. That's why , you can't login you with 80 port. It's a security of Server/Client.

What's wrong with website of Porteus?

1. Why fanthom have a color of girls group? Why brokenman have a color of registered users group?
2. Russian buttons was removed. Why?
3. A CSS of style is broken. Why?

Image - bad

Image - right
