Re: Forum bugs
When you choose the language it should say "Deutsch DE" instead of "Deutsch Du"
Or is the "Du" meant as "informal language / German" instead of the short for "Deutsch"
Then... tell me so and I am off for some

Re: Forum bugs
Below each avatar, we now have the following:
I believe the second should read
Also, I would suggest changing the page title for the forum Main Index, from "forum about Porteus" to something more along the lines of "Porteus Community Forum".
Thanks!

Re: Forum bugs
One question on the "thanks"... why can I thank on posts... like in this thread, but not on others, like in the "non-root-user" thread?
Cheers!

Re: Forum bugs
firefox in 64bit edition (32bit is fine) doesn't display emoticons correctly:
http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/9062/snap0000.jpg
also - animation of emoticons is very slow.
any clues?
Second thing:
every time when i login or logout this message is displayed:
"You have been successfully logged in."
and i need to wait around 2-3 secs to be redirected to the main page.
I would like to go directly to the main page without delay...

Re: Forum bugs
fanthom, all animation in 64bit edition does not displayed correctly.
I think this is a bug of Xorg.

Re: Forum bugs
I would just like to congratulate those responsible for the forum structure. Finally, it seems that a demand to get meaningful categories was not such a fuss. There is a real pleasure to navigate around in this forum. And it seems to stimulate creativity.

Re: Forum bugs
Forum page is
http://www.forum.porteus.org/
but would be cleaner as:
http://forum.porteus.org/
And DNS is the same.
I just noticed that after posting I am surfing around on:
http://forum.porteus.org/index.php
Cool that it works, but funky that it requires DNS transmutation.
You guys are the best.

http://www.forum.porteus.org
I'll sort why it doesn't work without www prefix. Would be much nicer.
Posted after 23 hours 10 minutes 26 seconds:
Done.
forum.porteus.org should now work.
