Recently, I needed to convert a mp4(H264) format video, acceptable to Sony Bravia TV. win FF remained dumb, on pressing "convert", after choosing the right codec and preset. I used Terminal and FFMPEG , the back end for winFF, for conversion. It worked.

Did anyone face similar issue and solved the problem with the Front end?

just a guess: winff probably needs to be compiled against the specific version of ffmpeg used in the version of porteus you're using..
