of course yes, extract
Did you do that on a Windows file system by any chance?
Since then the missing file permissions would not matter.
Cheers!

Thought so, when you would use ext[234] instead you would run into the same issues as I did.

Do they say on their site that you should extract in onto a Windows FS when using the Linux version?
Cheers!

Windscribe sent me this reminder email:
Subject: Did you know Windscribe can do this?
Looks like you haven't used Windscribe in a while. This makes us really sad,
because privacy is important. Most VPN won't provide any true privacy.
Windscribe is different, thanks to a unique feature called R.O.B.E.R.T.
https://windscribe.com/features/robert Watch the following short film to see
what it can do for you, that no other VPN can.

https://youtu.be/Ofkh9D3xI6o
Done a

Code: Select all

yt-dlp -f 134+251 Ofkh9D3xI6o
and the resulting 6.95 MB are quite funny.
"The Last Windscriber - The Greatest Windscribe VPN Movie Ever Made" :)

Your thoughts? I think for a free 10GB/month service Windscribe VPN is on the top of my list when it comes to VPNs.

Of course Windscribe themselves will only tell positive stuff about their own product, but in the past I read independent reviews and what I read have all been been positive to stellar reviews.
Cheers!
