Once and a while and sometimes more often, there is the need for sharing folders. In the following threads there are comments about the most important shared folders services:
http://www.ebizmba.com/articles/file-sharing-websites
Among these are Dropbox, 4Shared, Google drive and Mediafire, amongst which, the first and the last are the two services that I used for free. But there are other services mentioned in the above thread.
Please give us your impressions about these cloud services that you use to inform our techno hunger community.
Thanks.
My detailed comments will come.

Re: On the useful topic called: sharing folders
Vic here. First post ... YAY!
I have several email accounts that I link to different cloud storage services: Box, Microsoft Onedrive, Google Gdrive and Pcloud.
Multcloud is a cloud services aggregator that enables me to view Box, Onedrive and Gdrive all on one web page.
I have not been able to easily share all my computers, which at times run anything at any time. Too much work, and I do not like using the terminal. I use Pcloud as a networking link between all my computers, and use Firefox to manually sync files and folders from their web page. I have decent internet speed, so I am happy.

Re: On the useful topic called: sharing folders
I use Google Drive for hosting Google Docs, sadly the share functionality is terrible since it won't show my public document in their web searches so I'll probably be using a different service some point. It came with my Google account so it was just something to try out.
Also, I have Dropbox for sharing stuff I've made. This was something suggested by college due to it having good security if I remember correctly.
I've near made a Mediafire account but been less tempted making one due to I think I've seen people sharing illegal shareware content. But if I know what I'm downloading is clean, I'm fine with it.
