No comprende. Already using hard disk, usb only for tests. Running from iso on hard disk. Running in ram, with extra modules on hard disk. What more being in mind?francois wrote:Maybe we should go further, that is: bringing the live technology (modules, modules unfolding, ... ) to the hard disk drive. Or something in this way..

Simply a wider array of certified modules or more of that:
http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/current/modules/
Modules as many as possible within the limits of team possibilities. What is jack doing or what you have done in some way. Modules classified in a neat interface:
https://www.slax.org/sl/modules.php
But maybe we have reach slackware possibilities, and will never be able to get over the limits of that distribution in terms of package pasture.
I have the impression to always be going back into the same steps.

I always thought that was a good idea and could look in one place for modules. There was a time I wish it was here. The hard part is getting member to do it or help.francois wrote:Modules as many as possible within the limits of team possibilities. What is jack doing or what you have done in some way. My modules I the download number keep growing. Thanks for all your support and I will and keep them updated.
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.
