Will the forum stay active?

Guys, after the 1.0 release, will the forum still be "active", or will it slow down over the summer and kinda hibernate? :)

I'll be here.

I think we're in a bit of a pre-release lull. Not a lot of new bugs/issues to resolve, not a lot of new members with questions. If/when V1.0 Final gets posted on Distrowatch, I'm sure well see an uptick. It sounds like development might slow down for a little bit after the release, but I don't think the forum will be in 'hibernation'.

I'll still be around but due to time constraints I might not always post. I try to peek in daily.

I'll be dropping in daily. Today i hit all the linux magazines with our release details and am waiting for any replies. This week i will look at promoting Porteus on the net a little more. Also thinking about a monthly Porteus Press magazine for users on a mailing list. Would only take me a couple of hours each month but would be a nice touch.

Not yet ... but there will be.

Yes we now have a mailing list. I will leave it inactive for now as the forum is the preferred way of communicating. There is a syndicate if you wish to receive emails from posts made here.
