Windows 10 Issue

Discovered that the new Windows 10 when shutting down places the windows partition in a hibernated state rather than closing. This results in the inability to mount the partition under linux. You can stop this condition by opening a cmd prompt in Windows 10 with admin privileges and issuing the command "powercfg.exe /off". This turns off the option and closes the drive normally. Apparently they are doing this so that Windows 10 starts faster. Hope it helps someone also wasn't sure if this is the right place to post.

Thanks. You should also be able to turn this functions off in the bios. It is called fast boot or something similar.

FWIW I have not experienced this with my Win 10 system. Could it be a Win 10 Config option?
