So I decided to compile gcc 4.7.0 I issued my ./configure with all my variables. I forgot to issue the -j on the make.

So now I am 3 hours in on compile and don't want to cancel it to add the Just needed to vent my frusteration.

My condolences.

I'd suggest a six pack, but I think you'd forget more than the -j if that was your solution.

If it is any condolence .. i would always compile something like gcc without the j switch ... but not without the beer.
