Using cheatcode login= to disable autologin. I cannot find the config where the default login manager wallpaper can be changed/disabled. Want to replace the wallpaper (white couch with black pillows) with a simple black background (i.e. blank). How can this be accomplished?

Edit /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf (## background of the greeter)

Thanks. Commenting out the option resulted in the default wallpaper of the Industrial theme. Pointed the path to a 1x1 pixel black PNG. Worked.

Or just open the menu and type: desktop

You will see the GUI to control the desktop background. Open it and change the 'style' to none.

Sorry. Misread the post and thought you were talking about the desktop background and not the login manager background.
