Cool stuff on the way for porteus

Hey all. Thought I'd drop in say hello.
Since getting to Europe this year I hardly had a chance to touch my laptop, let alone do anything with it.
This week I finally started laying down some code again, just messing around with some old projects and some new. Got some really cool shit brewing for Porteus.

Hope to make some releases over the next few weeks... I guess I should also install the latest Porteus :)

@ francios: probably both ;)

@ donald: working on a netbook version of porteus with a custom DE, an airplay client (transmitter and reciever), a vpn client that has a list of active and available free vpn services so users can choose a server and connect with one click (trying to add it to the network applet), some xfce tweaks, this week i built quite a few nice packages for slackware that currently are not available ( still need to compile in 32bit.) As well as a suprise (not sure if I can pull it off). Thats been my week.

When I get a chance I'll revisit my old unfinished projects. Like always I over commit but thats the only way I get alot done.

Hello freestyler!
Are you still working on the LXQT project?
I'm willing to try its post "beta test" version on my 32 bit computer.
For me Porteus and its forum members are extraordinary :friends: , so no doubt I am going to use this linux distribution.
No illicit love.

Let us know what you come up with freestyler as I am also working on a thin client version of Porteus.
