my 2 cents.. Pinta is not very reliable and messes up the layers if you use any.
would be great if this gets fixed by the pinta project.. it is less capable, but more intuitive than gimp.

-gnumeric is easy to be built thru usm the Unified Slackware Package Manager developped in the last few weeks by brokenman. Usm is available in porteus 3.0 rc2. This package manager is cli mode:
