These little units are becoming popular. Ahau did some work with arm (search forum) and i believe we will have to start developing his work in the future. Ahau if you need an extra pair of hands developing this further just shout out.

It will be great to see Porteus on netbooks, tablets pc, mobile phones, tv boxes (especially Chinese production) etc base on ARM CPU
I think, that Gnome for it devices will be good + Porteus Apps.

porteus on mobile phones - great but you are dreaming. Few Motorola phones with Linux are now discontinued (maybe they were not popular), and battery life - I use old Samsung i200 (Windows) and discharge time is better than for new Samsung B5510 (android).

Hi,
tome.
I love dreams 8)
Buy a battery with more aMh from China -
look at this for your mobile.
I bought battary with more aMh for my Sony Ericsson W19I - working long (moderate use) on Cyanogen Mod 10 Android 4.1.1 firmware.

Yes, battery and cyanogen can increase discharge time but with cyanogen warranty is lost.
btw phones from China can be now more popular because of interesting specifications
