Black Screen on graphics mode lxde

Everything was working fine until the pc froze when I clicked apply on and catalyst. control center and was forced yo shutdown. Always fresh works so that means there's some sort of corruption on my save.dat which let me to trying the save repair tool on always fresh but that didn't help either. Any help?

please move amd-catalyst driver to /optional then boot porteus to text mode and run following command:

Code: Select all

rm /mnt/live/memory/changes/etc/X11/xorg.conf
now move catalyst back to /modules and reboot.

if that wont help then you'll have to create new save.dat i'm afraid as i'm not sure what kind of damage catalyst driver made to your system.

i thought there is some custom xorg.conf in your changes which is causing troubles. seems not so you'll have to create new save.dat i'm afraid.

hi micele,

not sure about the proper xorg.conf syntax byt maybe you could add this xrandr command at the end of /opt/porteus-scripts/xorg/gui-autostart script?
it should work just fine.

You need -no-remote option to start new instance of firefox if you already have current instance.
You have mind and feelings. Be wise and clever.
