I have a Microsoft program doesn't need to be install its just 1 file will run in wine or not? If it will dose Porteus have a wine modules?
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

You need porteus 32bits or porteus x86_64 with compat32-libraries for execute wine

The link you gave dose it have the compat32-libraries in it? If not where the best place to find it?

I went to slackware.org.uk/slacky and download wine and everything it needed to work. It works great with a command line but I like to have a script to run it from a menu. Any idea how to build one?

right click on kde panel button > edit application (for example system) > new item (wine)

and put the command line in there. :)

System > preferences > main menu > system, then select new item and put the command in there. 8)

Thanks for the info francois. I don't know to say this but there is a screen on a how to use but itis white but every now and then you can see what on that page. Can that be fix if so how?

I bet there is a linux program that does the same as your MS program... 8)
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).
The Porteus Community never sleeps!
