Any wikipedia editors out there who could add us to the list of 'uses' on the wiki entry for LZMA compression?

Lempel–Ziv–Markov chain algorithm

There's one distro already listed there (simplelinux), but I think we'd be a good addition to the list, since pretty much everything in our distro is compressed with LZMA.

As mentioned by Mastersplinter on porteus chat today, there is the announcement of the Porteus v. 1.0 on Distrowatch:
http://distrowatch.com/

Citation 2011-06-23:

«Porteus 1.0, a distribution created by the user community of the inactive Slax project, has been released. The 32-bit edition comes with Trinity KDE 3.5.12, while the 64-bit variant ships with KDE 4.6.4 (both flavours also include LXDE as an alternative desktop)...»

Congratulation to the Porteus community. I seems that we are taken quite seriously.

This is great !! Keep up the good work. Now is the time to push Porteus to various forms of advertising and media. As you do this please report back here with a link or note of where you promoted Porteus.

We have already seen increased traffic from referred websites after the v1.0 release.
