How do i Install Pidgin?

I would like to ask,
How installing pidgin on Porteus or Sl*x Remix?
What modules do I need for this?

I'm beginer (for linux) and not familiar for most command.

Maybe you can try this one:
http://www.slax.org/modules.php?action=detail&id=2920

Like any other slax module you have to convert it into a sq4.lzm module. To do right click on it and select the appropriate procedure.

Thanks this is working :good: ... but there still a problem, it can't play sound notification, is there any module that i had to install with it?

exactly,
I installed 'libnotify' + I built 'libnotify-plugin' and I activated from plug-ins list but nothing change !!
no notifications !!

you can use buddy pounces for some users, but it's not solve to problem because , if I have 100 buddies in my account I will not add each one to buddy pounces !!!!

I think 'libnotify' is not work fine !!

Please download pidgin again latest 'pidgin-2.7.9-i486-1_slack13.1.lzm' is deleted.
