Email time

Why is my receive email time 5 hours ahead of real time. If I fixed email to show the real time everything else is 5 hours off of real time. Every other Linux and Windows programs that I boot up from time works. What could be going on with Porteus?
I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Apparently, your email fix is setting the pc's clock rather than the time zone. Check your email app's help system. Or use Google Gmail. :)

At the top of your Porteus picture it shows the time as 4:37 and the bottom of the Nemesis picture the time is 4.33 so the system's clock is the same. It appears both systems are using a Firefox browser to access the Yahoo email site so the time problem is either a browser problem or a Yahoo problem. imho Yahoo has been around since the 70's if I recall. :o

The top picture first post by Chelsie on Facebook that time is 1:34AM if your time not that time then I don't know what going on.

I use Firefox and yahoo mail in both Porteus and Nemesis if the problem is in one then it should be in both.

I will start using Nemesis 100% all the time and right now with no problem I know of.

I use Firefox and Porteus Cinnamon and Gmail and don't see the problem you're seeing.

That 4:37 was the time I took the picture and the time I was taking about was in the picture. I thought everybody would know that.
