Hi Jack
To remove a package you need to:
1) unpack the module
2) remove the package
3) repack the module
removepkg = slackware tool to remove a package.
--as root--
mkdir /tmp/unpacked
xzm2dir /path/to/module.xzm /tmp/unpacked
ROOT=/tmp/unpacked removepkg whatever
dir2xzm /tmp/unpacked /tmp/module.xzm

Thanks Donald I start keeping the help I receive that way I won't keep asking for help. In the 5 or more years I keep losing my memory that why I have to ask for help. Why I don't like Brisk Menu is of Windows when 8 and on came out. I almost die when my Porteus quit working.
I was getting ready to add more memory to 8gb and CPU from i5-520m to i7-640m that max on both. I already have memory by the first of next week the CPU. I just to make a little faster on a fixed income I couldn't buy new.

Apparently, you've already started that step.

Since you've already "removed Brisk Menu" deleting the app sounds like the next step.
Have you considering installing a Classic Menu
module and leaving the Brisk Menu in place?

I added Classic menu before I remove Brisk Menu that way I wouldn't lose any Menu. After I remove Brisk menu and repack 003-mate then restart Porteus into Classic Menu but I receive that message that why I ask that in a message.

When you clicked the "Don't Delete" option did the system boot? With the Classic Menu? If so it would seem you have nothing to loose deleting the Brisk Menu app.
A boot option that I use is the changes=exit one. That way if I boot and screw something up when I shutdown to reboot I can select the Don't Save Changes option. The default time to decide is 3 seconds but I changed mine to 5 second and am considering upping it to 8 seconds.

Hi Jack
I've done the same as you did [removed the brisk-menu package from the mate-module]
and got the same message.
Now if you click 'don't delete' it will ask you again at next boot.
so I chose 'delete' and it is OK - so far.
But bear in mind that I know next to nothing about the mate desktop.
