System Restore script

Was on the Puppy forum and saw this

https://forum.puppylinux.com/viewtopic.php?t=10769

and am wondering about the reference to --the "porteus-boot" way-- and if there is a similar script for Porteus that I missed.

It seems like it could be cool but maybe adding another way to boot would just be confusing.

The Porteus Save-Session creates files with dates in their name.

System Restore script

Hi Ed.

I was looking at the restore menu as a way around the boot cfg file needing to be altered.

Or having multiple save files and changing the .xzm extension to enable / disable them.

Maybe have a folder in optional and swap savefiles would work. I will try that.

Thanks for replying,

Vic
