Why there is no journalctl in porteus v5.0 and how to install/enable it?
i would like to get verbose log from OpenVPN and establish that free mobile is throttling openVPN connection from 5G/LTE

journalctl is part of the systemd suite, and afaiui doesn't operate outside of it.
systemd is not in slackware, hence not part of porteus.
though i believe there are some slackbuilds out there somewhere for it, setting it up to run porteus would be non-trivial.
neko's arch based aporteus does use systemd, if you want to try that.
otherwise, i would think it'd just log to /var/log/<one_of_these>
