Libreoffice-update seem to be broken

Post#4 by benjibasson » 30 Mar 2023, 15:04

Hi, I don't have devel package. because update-libreoffice never said to install devel package ( witch is heavy and not a dependencies) and I never use make, or other compilation's tools

in fact there are 2 troubleshoot on libreoffice
1) the frensh version is corrupted because

Code: Select all

update-libreoffice fr
give me a corrupted XZM sized 40Mo instead of 215Mo in contrast of

Code: Select all

update-libreoffice en-GB
witch give a working XZM sized 215Mo.
(I have done ten alwaysfresh mode attemp for fr and en-GB

2) both Draw and Impress doesn't work because it seems that avahi dependencies is missing ( repported from this forum ) not reported from libreoffice neither update-libreoffice

What am I suppose to do to have accurate dependencies to be abble to run impress please?

Building of /tmp/LibreOffice-7.5.2-x86_64-fr-1bl.xzm module
mv: cannot stat '/tmp/SBo/package-LibreOffice/opt/libreoffice?.?/share/xdg/*.desktop': No such file or directory
sed: no input files
/usr/local/bin/update-libreoffice-live: line 182: gcc: command not found
/usr/local/bin/update-libreoffice-live: line 183: gcc: command not found
need to use update LO script with 05-devel.xzm module and Impress will work:
Image

Code: Select all

# built two dummy/empty libraries (need for run LO Impress)
cd $(echo $LO | sed 's|soffice||')
gcc -shared -o libavahi-client.so.3 -x c - < /dev/null
gcc -shared -o libavahi-common.so.3 -x c - < /dev/null
