Likewise.
When i was outside some 4 hours ago (approx 11:00 to 12:30 local time) it was wet cold and more gloomy than anything.
But now is the plan to create the warmth inside my flat and bath in love and smiles.
I start with making a fine elaborate meal.
Cheers!

It's 7 F degrees here with gusts up to 50 mph and blowing snow. Been like this since yesterday though the gusts were in the 60 mph range yesterday.
I wish I could stop over and enjoy it with you.

I heard in the news what they called a once-in-a-lifetime cold wave in the USA. Unfortunately, extreme weather conditions will get more and more common in the months and years to come.
And I just did the calculation, 7°F is -14°C. [ * ]
Up until approx the 12th of December we had snow everywhere and temperature at the highest of -4°C. I loved it.
But for more than half a week now all snow melted and we have wet and cold weather, Yesterday we had heavy rain, the weather forecast says we will get thunderstorms on Monday.
When I could choose between cold and wet and just above the freezing point (meaning 2°C to 6°C) I prefer colder and dry air, e.g. -2°C or -4°C to -6°C, because below freezing the air is always much drier - in comparison just above freezing the air is usually very moist.
And it means for many people more stress for the body, and more difficult to stay healthy when it's just above freezing and weeks of wet and gloom; in the dry colder temperature you have to just dress correct to stay warm, while the much drier air is more healthy.
