Porteus

My Porteus 5.0 Cinnamon has worked flawlessly. Had my first Porteus Updater work this morning....think it was my first(??). Updated the 001-core & 002-xorg. Got brave last night 'n tried to create that 515.57 Nvidia module - [HOWTO] make a xzm module driver for NVIDIA video card - that ncmprhnsbl had mentioned, but "Midnight Commander" seemed irritated 'n gave me a good thrashing. I may try again soon...without Mr. "Midnight Commander" tho!!!

have be meaning to make an announcement about this, but have been waiting for some things to be moved around on the server..
there is also a new initrd.xz build (not handled by the updater yet) that you can get from <your_favourite_mirror>/$ARCH/Porteus-v5.0/updates/core/20220723/
and manually swap out.
it has new e2fsck (among other things).
