Re: New name module extension
too big problem for noobs, more newbie users can download modules from slax or other site but not all packages is compatibile with new distro.- removed sq4 suffix so all slax tools will produce .lzm modules instead of .sq4.lzm
My opinion .lzm extension is for squashfs3 nad lzma compression.
For new squasfs4 and lzma compression new name is better idea, maybe .lz4 or other name.
This is only my opinion regards.
Re: New name module extension
Think of the advantage ~ more user using our repo n our module, then we really rule the world ( linux wise ??? )too big problem for noobs, more newbie users can download modules from slax or other site but not all packages is compatibile with new distro.
for incompatibilities ~ if the module is useful someone might made/revise to our module

Re: New name module extension
@crashman
sorry i did not understand your first post fully
so i was thinknig about switching to 'sq4' instead of 'lzm' but i have decided to not do it as all LLS based distros are using 'lzm' (even if it's sq4 version).
Also, i think that slax-7 will be still using 'lzm' so in case of merging we wont have to rename out modules back.
