Thanks. I will make a tutorial on how to do it for people that roll their own. But for most people using Porteus -v3.2rcX you can just update you browser through the update scripts (update-firefox) and it will automatically set DDG as the default (with the exception of Opera because I can`t get it to play nice.).

I started using DuckDuckGo to help donate and show appreciation for this os. Plus it's a lot lighter and friendlier than Google.

One thing I've noticed on old Opera in the v3.1 default search engine is "https://duckduckgo.com/?t=porteus&q=%s". Does it require "t=porteus" in the default browser url query string to work?

I believe the limit is $10,000.00, but I could be wrong. Try it and let us know the results.
