Porteus on netbook

I am successfully running porteus v09 on a HPmini netbook as frugal install on ntfs partition alongside windows7. I am quite happy with it but v1rc1 gave me problems, especially mouse buttons not working well and openoffice did not work. Has anyone else tried running porteus on netbook? I would like to know their experience.
