We're fixing the mirror issue.

Even if another mirror is selected, it will always download the package from the main server!
This shouldn't be the case!

by the looks of https://slackware.halpanet.org/slackdce ... CKAGES.TXT (the offending PACKAGE MIRROR: line is removed)
i would guess this is now fixed and the the above workaround for slapt-mod/slapt-get is no longer needed.
