they're quite convenient when using a portable OS
You're welcome Tolkem. Thanks for the additions.
While my intention to create this post was never to create an exhaustive list of existing appimages (which is increasing day by day), I wanted to point out what I'd think would be good to have in a pendrive ready for the battle.

After further research, I take the opportunity to include some appimages that I find worth testing
Somehow I'm beginning to see myself like reinventing the wheel... , but anyway.

Cryptomator a FOSS client side encryption tool aimed for cloud files. See this review.

Drill is a file search utilty which needs no index.

Thanks.

For appimage users like ourselves it is good to have a source with info like your post, since navigating sites like appimagehub can be daunting due the great number of apps stored in there which makes it kind of...overwhelming, I think. So thank you for this post!

Odio --> spanish word for "hate". (In french, "Au" becomes "O", so...)

Found this yesterday from MX-Linux blog.

Not tested yet but it seems to support EFI USB creation.

Cheers!

Yes, was already included in the first post. And it works flawlessly.

I think MX live-usb-maker provides for more control. It feels closer to what Rufus is for Windoze.

Cheers!

Doesn't work for me (Nemesis // Porteus // MX-Linux) and it can't even be extracted with --appimage-extract option.

"... please check your FUSE setup..."

Have you tested it?

***Edit
Previous version works well :good:

Cheers!

unless the appimage is stored on fat32(maybe ntfs too?), then it's already executable..
Usually Fat32 and NTFS has all files executable.

But you could also mount these file systems without having any file executable. Usually that is not done so, but it is possible.
In that case you could not execute any Linux script or binary that sits on such file systems.
