Hi porteux,
Language switch cannot be performed in Porteux current

I can now print in PorteuX current.
printing-current-x86_64.xzm works with the library programs libcupsfilters-2.1.0-x86_64-2.xzm libpaper-2.2.5-x86_64-1.xzm libppd-2.1.0-x86_64-2.xzm poppler-25.01.0-x86_64-1.xzm

As the next step, I added the module 08-multilanguage-current-20241215.xzm in the modules folder.
This module does not cause any damage.
The system with all these modules boots correctly.

Next, I wanted to make the language configuration permanent via rootcopy ( /etc/profile.d/lang.sh ).
This doesn't work!
rootcopy causes damage.
The system hangs during boot: INIT: Id "x1" respawning too fast
When I log in then, I am prompted to log in again (infinite loop)
This means I cannot access the system!

When I remove rootcopy, the system boots normally again, but of course without language switch.

Next, I tried via module.
The module contains only /etc/profile.d/lang.sh
But this module causes the same damage as rootcopy.

What can I do ?

Please, use PorteuX Language Switcher to do that -- in Xfce it's in the System menu.

Thank you very much,
the problem is now solved.
I would not have thought that the system would react so sensitively
