Version glibc

in version porteuX 0.4 Xfce 4.16 : ldd (GNU libc) 2.35
in version porteuX 1.8 Xfce 4.18 : ldd (GNU libc) 2.33

Why ??

Most likely you're mixing stable and current.

Stable is stuck in glibc 2.33 since PorteuX version 0.1, just like Slackware 15.0.

some module in the modules folder must be causing this.
As a check, I have now started porteux 0.4 in "always fresh" mode, and then ldd version 2.33 is displayed

Hi porteux,
I have found the cause.
When the module 009-porteus5-compatibility-stable.xzm is present in the modules folder, ldd version 2.35 is displayed.

However, if I remove this module, ldd version 2.33 is displayed.
